Dear Donation Department,
My name is Kelly Hodge, and I am the owner and director of Ballare Dance Centre, a local dance studio in the South San Jose area. I have been in business since 2007 and over the past 16 years, young people of all ages have come to join our dance family. Unfortunately, over the past few years a few of my dance families have encountered some financial hardships due to the economy. I enjoy sharing my love and passion for dance with all my dancers and have done what I can to help these families so their child(ren) can continue to dance. However, I would like to do more.
On June 10th and 11th, 2023, Ballare Dance Centre will be performing our 16th annual dance recital at Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill. With the success, we have had over the past 8 year raising money to keep children dancing, we are very excited to continue a scholarship fund for an 9th year. With the funds that were raised from our 2022 raffle we were able to assist a few dance families with tuition assistance.
Due to the generous donations from our local community Ballare Dance Centre created the Ballare Dancers' Dream Fund. In October 2015, the Ballare Dancers' Dream Fund successfully became a non-profit organization. I am reaching out to businesses in our community that myself as well as my dance families frequently visit and asking for your help. Your donation will be a part of our raffle for the scholarship program. All the proceeds from the raffle will be used to help with monthly dance tuition for dancers whose family is suffering a financial hardship. Over our recital weekend we have about 500+ people that attend our show. Your business name will appear on our “Thank You Donors” list in our recital program insert as well as displayed in the lobby at the recital and in the studio for all to see. Y our company logo will also appear on out Dream Fund page on our website, Facebook, and Instagram pages. We are looking for a variety of items that appeal to dancers, parents, guests, and families. We also hope that because of your generous donation to the Ballare Dancers' Dream Fund it will bring more attention to your business and help attract new customers for you. We want to see this program benefit both the dancers as well as those contributing donors in our community.
At our recital, all my dancers have the opportunity to perform on stage and are acknowledged and congratulated for the wonderful job they did with awards and other recital goodies. Our recital celebration continues as we always invite dancers, friends, and family members to join us for refreshments after our performance. Our recital is the highlight of our year and to have continued success with our scholarship program will truly be a celebration.
