Hello, every year on halloween we host a Trunk or Treat / National Nightout event in our City Park. It provides a safe trick or treating experience for the community and an oppurtunity to meet all of our local first responders. We have bounce houses, costume contests, snow cones, ice cream truck, food, and more. This event is 100% free for anyone who attends so it also provides a really fun experience for families who dont have a lot of money. We had over 1000 people attend last year and it was such a huge success. The event is dependent on donations as it is a free event so there is no income for the city from it. We also do door prizes, last year we have over 30 bicycles, skateboards, basketballs, footballs, gift certificates for local restaurants, and more.
