BarbaraCares is a small grassroots 501C3 nonprofit providing social supportive services to breast cancer patients and caregivers. We work to expand access to free mammography screenings to address late-stage breast cancer incidents and mortality rates here in the state of Texas. We strive to reduce barriers to healthcare while actively providing resources such as counseling, healthy meals, financial assistance, gas cards, support groups, mammogram screenings, PPE and more to those affected by an active breast cancer diagnosis. Now servicing all 254 counties in Texas; our targeted emphasis is preventative action for those economically disadvantaged, communities marginalized, and those identified as being at greatest risk.
