The PTO at Barbieri Elementary School in Framingham is planning our annual auction in April 2022 to raise funds and awareness to support our mission as the largest two-way bilingual program in the MetroWest Boston area. Barbieri brings together native English-speaking and native Spanish-speaking students to be immersed with each other, with the goal of them growing together to be culturally, socially, and academically bilingual. Barbieri is designated as an International Spanish Academy by the Spanish Ministry of Education. Over 60% of our students come from low-income households and are eligible for free or reduced lunch; there are many activities and programs that are not covered by the school budget that we hope we could provide for our students with the proceeds from this auction.
