At Barnum Financial Group, we believe the ability to make a difference brings meaning and purpose to our lives. We see it every day with the work our advisors do on behalf of our clients, and our commitment to making a difference extends well beyond our office walls. At the core of our community service work is the Barnum Foundation for Life, Inc., founded by Paul and Mindee Blanco.
The mission of the foundation is to “improve the quality of life for the children and families we serve through actions that promote change and deepen connections within our community.” From volunteer hours, to direct donations, to the collection of goods, and serving on Boards, our employees have positively impacted thousands of children and families in need in our CT, NJ, NY, and RI communities.
Monies raised directly support a wide range of programs such as our Special Allocations grants program, our most cherished event, Bikes for Kids, and numerous annual drives, where tangible items such as diapers, food, pajamas, books, school supplies, and more are collected and distributed to those in need in our own backyards! Recent recipients of grants and goods include City Harvest, the Hole In the Wall Gang, Sunrise Association, Orange Food2Kids, Central CT Coast YMCA, Hands on Hartford, cARTie, and more!
