BASIS DC, a Public Charter School serving all 8 wards of Washington, DC, offers an academically rigorous curriculum to over 500 students (grades 5-12). The BASIS DC curriculum has a proven track record and was recently rated the top Charter School in DC.

BASIS DC achieves this academic excellence because of its world-class teachers, experts in their fields who go above and beyond, tutoring students both before and after school so every student can keep pace with the ambitious curriculum. BASIS DC retains these teachers, in part, through merit-based bonuses reflecting their students’ performance.

The Basis DC Boosters help to raise the teacher retention funds for the school.
