The Bedminster Township School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is an organization of parents and teachers who, through their commitment of time and resources, work to enhance the Bedminster Township School’s learning environment. We believe that only when students, parents and teachers work together can a child realize the exceptional education that is every parent’s dream and are thus committed to investing our time, energy and resources to further their education.
We aspire to maintain an engaged network of parents, teachers, school administrators and community organizations; to promote culturally diverse and enriching educational experiences for our students; to promote the emotional and physical well-being of children in the school, community and home; and to support our teachers, administration and school by funding innovative technology and resources.
The PTO is able to do its work through various means of fundraising, the most significant being our annual "Spring Fling," a night of raffles and auctions held every April.
What we do with the funds raised:
-provide teacher grants both large and small
-provide bussing for field trips
-fund school-wide and grade-level assemblies such as Kit’s Interactive Theatre, Brainwash Game Show, BMX “Perfection on Wheels” Show, Prismatic Magic - Black History Month
-contribute to the Drama Club Spring Musical
-sponsor awards for our 8th grade graduates
-contribute to the Odyssey of the Mind Club
-host many school-wide events including our Kindergarten and New Student Ice Cream Social, Welcome Back Teacher Lunch, Staff Appreciation Day, Halloween events and more!
