The mission of our organization is to encourage and enrich the lives of individuals with different abilities while engaging their families and communities. We strive to create an independent, safe, nurturing, positive, goal-oriented, and inclusion-based learning environment in which to grow. We believe that an individual’s learning potential is
unlimited regardless of ability. Our highest priority at BICA is for everyone to achieve success through continued support and individualized training with a foundation including parents, siblings, teachers, therapists, friends, and surrounding communities.
We serve individuals with developmental disabilities to include but are not limited to Autism, Down Syndrome, Cognitive Impairments, Visual and Hearing Impairments, Cerebral Palsy, and Fragile X Syndrome. We are also open for camps, social groups, and cooking groups for individuals with disabilities and their typical functioning peers. We also provide advocacy for the individual in school as well as government services.
