The mission of the PTO is to build a lively and cohesive school community, and provide activities and enhancements otherwise unobtainable through the school’s budget. The PTO organizes activities for the children and parents, arranges volunteers to assist school staff, encourages communication, and builds positive relationships between parents, administrators, teachers, and students. In addition, the PTO raises money for school activities, field trips, and enhancements for the school.

 

The Ben Franklin Elementary School PTO, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, will be hosting its First Annual
Summer Kick-Off Carnival, a family friendly event with games, raffles and more to raise funds for the coming
year. Our event will be held at the Ben Franklin Elementary School in Lawrenceville, on Sunday, June 12,
2022.


We are writing to request that you consider donating a raffle item, gift certificate, or gift basket to be used as a
raffle prize. As a donor, you will receive publicity prior to and during the event. That publicity includes email
blasts to every parent of the 400+ Ben Franklin students, posts on the school's PTO Facebook page, and
mention in the school PTO newsletter. The PTO will be sending more than 400 invitations and expects to have
300 or more attendees. With the money raised we will continue to fund our mission and support the youth and
families of Ben Franklin Elementary School. This support has included the purchase of iPads for Specialists,a
buddy bench to promote caring, sensory furniture, educational field trips, assemblies and much more!
