Berks County Search and Rescue is a non-profit 501(C)3 tax exempt, public charity. We are fully insured and trained for search and rescue operations.
Our amazing team of volunteers is based in Berks County Pennsylvania to provide the citizens of Berks and surrounding counties with search & rescue operations and wilderness safety education.
Seeing a need for search and rescue in Berks County. We formed our group in November of 2019 to provide well-trained search & rescue personnel and disaster assistance to other emergency services of Berks County and surrounding counties.
We are designated Station 2 by Berks County D.E.S.
We are members of the Pennsylvania Search And Rescue Council as a Level I team.
We aim to provide the citizens of Berks County and surrounding counties with search and rescue operations and to educate the public in wilderness safety for adults and children.
