At the Billiken Engagement Center, current SLU students connect with alumni via phone, text, email and U.S. mail in hopes of updating graduates’ demographic information, strengthening relationships with alumni, providing campus updates and fundraising for the University. 

In this part-time position, our student-workers gain real-world experience, grow connections within the SLU community and share their passion for giving back to their soon-to-be alma mater.

As part of the Annual Giving department in SLU’s Development Division, student callers can experience what it is like working for a nonprofit organization and have a hand in raising more than $200,000 annually for SLU. Through their calling, they have the opportunity to connect and network with alumni, as well as improve their communication skills.
