Blackberry Creek Farm Animal Sanctuary provides a refuge for animals to live out their lives enjoying kindness, compassion, and permanent sanctuary, and to offers education and advocacy on their behalf. public.
The sanctuary:
- Advocates love and compassion for creatures and the responsibilities human beings have to demonstrate that love through protection and advocacy for our voiceless companions.
- Provides education promoting the humane care of animals, encourage ecological and moral responsibility and the part each individual can play in making compassionate dietary and lifestyle decisions.
- Offers a place for the community to learn about and connect with animals in a loving and respectful way. We are not a petting zoo and all animals have agency whether or not they choose to participate in tours, volunteer day activities, and group visits.
- Meets the needs of rescued animals by providing them with shelter, nutrition, medical care, companionship, and unconditional love for their entire natural lives.
