Strides for Pride is a fitness focused event allowing the school's children the opportunity to walk and participate in many other physical activities. It is also a fundraising event, with donations, corporate sponsorships, and a silent auction. This request is to support our silent auction. The funds raised are used to support the school's needs (i.e. literacy Library, iPads, testing support items, Playground equipment, etc.). The balance of physical fitness focus and school fundraising creates a wonderful day for our students, staff, parents, and many local businesses that attend.
Our annual Fitness Fundraiser is to encourage fitness and raise operating budget $ for our 2018-2019 school year. We also have multiple improvement goals: technology in all classrooms, literacy library, etc. This event avoids the need for the young children to go door-to-door selling items.
