The purpose of this association is to act as a member agency of the Pennsylvania Association for the Blind, provide supportive services to persons who are visually impaired and to whose income falls within state guidelines, conserve sight and prevent blindness.
About us
we provide transportation services to the visually impaired with sighted guide to help them stay active in the community and to continue to live in their own instead of being instiutionalized. We also help with grocery shopping, putting away groceries, reading mail, filling out forms in doctors offices, rent rebates ect. We also provide to the general public vision screenings for preschool children and adults as well as eye health and safety education programs.
