Blessings in a Backpack is a nationwide not for profit that provides underprivileged elementary school children with food on the weekends. In 2013 we began as 2 moms making a difference in our community and broght this organization to the Longwood School District. We have since grown our tem and provide weekend meals to over 360 children across the district. A harsh reality is the waiting list is still larger than those we help.
