Blue Caboose was founded in 2012 with the goal to help families LIVE with Cystic Fibrosis. Our mission is to ease the financial burden of having a child living with Cystic Fibrosis while providing emotional support to the family and spreading awareness of the disease. We achieve our mission through five main programs:

• Back To School - We provide backpacks to children living with CF and their siblings in Dallas and Fort Worth
• Caboose Comfort Totes - We visit children during hospital admissions and bring them a tote full of toiletries, games, a blanket, and things to pass the time. We also provide them with a meal during the hospital admission.
• Holiday Party - We co-host a holiday dinner with the local CF center and we set up "Santa's Workshop" with donated toys that our families can "shop" to provide holiday gifts for their children. We also send them home with a gift card to purchase their holiday dinner.
• Monthly Parent/Caregiver Dinners - Each month we provide a dinner where parents can come and meet people who are facing a similar journey.
• Family Grants - Familiies are able to apply for up to $500 to pay necessary bills (utlities, rent, gas, groceries, etc.)
