Boone Area Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the humane treatment of animals. Following a no-kill principle we strive to educate the public and increas community involvement with rescue, rehabiliation and rehoming animals.

Last year we helped over 700 dogs, cats and other animals find loving homes. Our volunteer foster program helped raised over 100 neonatal kittens until they were old enought for adoption. We have an active volutneer group that also includes youth volunteers and families who help care for the animals that come through our doors.
