I founded BOSS when I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis. Sar-Coid...WHAT?! Nobody had ever heard of it. I knew there was no cure and found there were MANY people living with this unknown disease. I was no longer able to work and knew I had to do something. 13 years later, we now hold this fundraiser every year to help those living with this disease who are not able to afford their medications, Dr. Bills, etc. It also helps raise awareness for a disease that has no voice!
