BGC Durham's mission is to provide a safe and supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life.
BGC Durham has been removing barriers and creating opportunities for children and youth in the Durham Region since 1963.
Since then, we have built programs and services, expanded our footprint within the Durham Region to over 15 service locations, and provided opportunity to those who may otherwise not have had such an opportunity. Our Club instills strong core values that teach the importance of mutual respect, teamwork, and being socially responsible through accessible and affordable after-school, school break, and youth justice programs.
To date, BGC Durham has helped thousands of children and youth develop the skills they need to succeed through life-changing programs, community-based services, and relationships with peers and caring adults. We are an authorized provider of after-school recreational programs, a High Five Accredited organization, and a member of BGC Canada.
