The Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh’s mission is to improve the lives of children and families. Our vision is to be a generation-changing leading provider of programs emphasizing youth development services and family outreach support to meet the needs of young people ages 6 to 18 years-old and their families. We currently serve around 1,800 children and families in Winnebago County. The Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh offers quality programs for 6-18 year olds taught by caring professional staff that have proven successful in thousands of Clubs nationwide, address today’s most pressing youth issues and assist in teaching young people the skills they need to succeed in life. We also continually evaluate the needs of youth and the results of our programs to improve and evolve with the changing times. Boys & Girls Clubs all have services that are unique to their organizations. At our Club, this means we provide things like healthy meals and snacks, shower and hygiene support, on site mental health counseling, grief support groups, dental and vision care, after-school care, transportation services for our youth from school to the Club and much more. By providing services like these, we hope to make it easier for kids to focus on participating in our life-changing programs and having fun.
