The Boys & Girls Clubs of Portage County serves nearly 2,000 Club members throughout the year with afterschool programming, summer programs, special events, healthy meals, sports, and recreation. Boys & Girls Club of Portage County has been serving the community for 20 years and operates in five community schools within Portage County in addition to its Berard and Plover Centers. For a nominal membership and enrollment fee, Club members receive homework help, tutoring, healthy meals, participation in enrichment programs. These programs are in the core areas of education and career development, character and leadership, health and life skills, sports, fitness and recreation and the arts. All these services are provided in a safe and fun environment in which the children thrive.
