Boys Hope Girls Hope of New York (BHGHNY) is an educational non-profit located in the Fort Greene neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. We are one of 15 affiliates in the greater Boys Hope Girls Hope (BHGH) Network that spans across America, Mexico, and Guatemala. Our 501(c)3 Form is a group exemption, so it contains all of the affiliates, but BHGHNY is specifically listed on the final page of the document that is attached. Our program works to support disadvantaged youth by providing them with educational opportunities, and a secure environment for them to grow. We currently have 45 scholars in our Academy and Residential programs who all attend our partner school Bishop-Loughlin Memorial High School. All the male scholars in the residential program stay 5 nights a week in our residential building, and both our female and male scholars attend the after-school academy where they participate in study hall with tutors, workshops, educational programming, community service, and extracurricular activities.
