The Brady’s Bridge mission is to work with families of children with special needs, by providing affordable after-school programs. Many kids that are considered medically fragile or have behavioral diagnoses, do not have an option for after-school programs due to their needs. Most programs are not able to provide a low teacher to student ratio to accommodate the needs of the child. Texas allows up to 26 kids to 1 teacher in an after school program. This does not allow for a safe environment for kids with medical needs or a behavioral diagnosis such as autism. It leaves families to make decisions for expensive specialized care or a parent leaving a job to provide the care their child needs. We will work with children of all abilities.
