Branded One CrossFit is a nonprofit gym in Southern Nevada that makes a tremendous impact in our community. Our passion is to provide disabled Veterans and First Responders a welcoming community that understands the precise needs of our Branded Heroes, free of charge. Many of our Branded Heroes are economically disadvantaged and rely on disability pensions from the government which in many cases is not enough to properly take care of themselves.

Our Mission Statement is to empower disabled servicemen/women; give back to the community; bridge the gap between the abled and disabled; create a fitness community dedicated to making the world a better place. Branded One is a CrossFit community where everyone’s differences are acknowledged, respected, and celebrated so that all members are safe being themselves and all voices are sought and heard. We believe that equity, diversity, and inclusion are foundational elements to achieve our mission, carry out our vision, and be true to our values.

Branded One CrossFit provides coaching that inspires people through their own hard work and shows them that anything is possible – whether that’s weight-loss, improved nutrition, general fitness, high-level athletic performance, playing with grandchildren, or as simple as going up and down stairs. Our disabled heroes should be able to pursue whatever makes them happy without having to worry about the limitations of their body. Refraining from functional movement is what causes mental and physical deficits, so Branded One CrossFit wants to make sure every disabled hero does not fall victim to these deficits. CrossFit provides not only a community but also it is designed to improve your overall physical abilities, including your endurance, strength, flexibility, speed, coordination, balance, and more, which translate into being able to maintain or improve an individual's ability to perform everyday, routine tasks.

Our growing population has increased our need for more space, equipment and resources. As a result, we have put a plan in place to move to a new facility in 2023, which will increase our capacity by 150%. Our current capacity allows us to provide service to 155 members; our new capacity will allow us to serve about 387 members. Our tenant improvements for our new facility are estimated to cost $125,000 for flooring, equipment and overall build out of the facility.

Our intent is to partially fund our expansion project through donations, our annual Veteran’s Day fundraiser (raised $47k+ in 2021) and memberships. Any costs for expansion that we are unable to fund will be covered via a loan, which we would like to minimize. Therefore, we have started this initiative with a goal of obtaining additional community support through grants, sponsorships and donated items to raffle at our annual Veterans Day fundraising event, that is a CrossFit Competition which is called, “The Battle at Branded One”. Through these efforts, it allows for the growth and support of our organization, making it easy for us to provide aid and resources to even more disabled servicemen and women who so desperately need it.
