The Brandywine Community Library’s Mission is to encourage learning by providing free and equal access to information, technology, resources and services, be a gathering place for the community, and promote the love of reading. The Library serves the Brandywine Heights area school district including the Borough of Topton, District Township, Longswamp Township and Rockland Township as well as the residents of The Lutheran Home. The Brandywine Community Library has been serving the community since 1989 and is a Gold Level Library in the PA Forward Star Program and supports the five miteracies- basic literacy, civic adn social literacy, healht literacy, information literacy and financial literacy.
