Mission Statement: Break Free Release Ministries International
At Break Free Release Ministries International, our mission is to equip, empower, and help individuals and families excel, transforming lives through compassion, support, and impactful initiatives. Founded and directed by Dr. Yolanda G. Sherman, we are dedicated to uplifting communities in Alief, Texas, and Houston, Texas.
Through our diverse programs and services, we strive to create an environment where individuals can overcome obstacles, find hope, and unlock their full potential. We are committed to:
1. **Empowering Women:** Through our Women Overcoming Obstacles (W.O.O) initiative, we provide a nurturing space for women to receive support, outreach, and counseling, enabling them to conquer challenges and thrive in all aspects of life.
2. **Supporting Families:** With our G.A.N.G.S. (Giving A New Generation Support) program, we stand beside families of present and past gang-affiliate members, offering support, counseling, and educational activities to break the cycle of violence and create a path towards a brighter future.
3. **Serving the Community:** Our BFRM Squad Community Outreach program actively engages with the community, providing essential resources, feeding the hungry, counseling the homeless, educating youth, and supporting singles and married couples.
4. **Promoting Technological Advancement:** As part of our vision, we seek to establish a Technology Center that empowers individuals with access to technology, research resources, and facilities for creative visual projects, bridging the digital divide and fostering innovative opportunities.
5. **Empowering Broadcasters:** Our Broadcasting Mentorship Project equips aspiring broadcasters with the skills and knowledge needed to make a positive impact through radio and television, as well as hardware and software techniques.
Our mission is driven by compassion, dedication, and a desire to uplift individuals and communities. We believe that by fostering a culture of support and empowerment, we can create a society where everyone has the opportunity to break free, release their potential, and lead fulfilling lives.
