The Bridgeport FFA organization is dedicated to providing students with life long skills they can use in everyday life from animal care, welding, floral design, leadership and much more. Our goal is to develop leaders to provide help in our community. We support efforts of students striving to attend college as well as trade schools or even the workforce. At our event all items that are built for the auction are fabricated throughout the year in our agriculture mechanics classes, floral design classes and some animal classes. Products that students learn on are metal benchs, trailers, picnic tables, firepits, floral arrangments, wreaths, and much more. Students in our classes today are being taught to use their hands as well as their education with everyday decissions and task. Each donation that is made available raises funds to help us purchase equipment needed to continue the education learning. The funds also provide opportuinty for our students to travel for a contest where they are proforming a skill learned in our class to earn scholarships, awards and resume building achievments. Every cent we earn goes right back to the students in our classes.
