Brighter Magazine's mission is to serve the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of women affected by cancer.  We accomplish this through our publication and programs that encourage, equip, educate and empower women affected by cancer.  Life with cancer is expensive enough, as a result, we provide our publication and programs at little to no cost to the survivor.

Brighter Magazine serves female survivors in a new and uniqe way.

Brighter Magazine is the only lifestyle magazine for women affected by cancer.  We feature survivor's stories of hope and articles on topics such as hair loss, mental health, skin care, and health reminding survivors that they are not alone. Our publication is seen by medical professionals and the cancer community as both a mental health and health literacy piece.

Our Social Survivors events are evenings of teaching from professionals in their field paired with time for women in any stage of life post diagnosis to connect, support and encourage one another in a non-medical setting.  Women state that they love the support aspect of what we do and that it is not hosted in a hopital setting.

Our Summer Program impacts the next generation of women by providing professional development through volunteering while also raising awareness and providing education about women's cancer.  Young women leave our summer program more aware of the risks and symptoms of cancer and are more equipped to face the possiblity of them or their friends being diagnosed with cancer in the future.

Our Ambassador Program is a small support group of women in the brighter community who are supported by Brighter who then use their social platforms to encourage, equip, eduate and empower women coming behind them.  These women have shared that the Ambassador program puts purpose to the pain of their cancer experience and those we serve are thankful to have resources that have been tried and tested by women like them.

Brighter Magazine partners with medical facilities like UTSouthwestern, Baylor, Presbyterian, Vanderbilt Health, Ballad Health, and more to reach women within their facilities with our unique information.  The Cancer community has agreed that our resources are "greatly needed, and vastly overdue." As a result we hope you will find our organizaiton to be worthy of your gifts.
