The mission of Broadscope Disability Services (Broadscope) is to advance opportunities for people with disabilities and their families. We foster inclusion and empower individuals with freedom of choice. Our organization has been a recognized leader in empowering freedom of choice and promoting inclusion through individualized programming, ongoing collaboration with fellow disability service providers and innovative practices since 1970.

Broadscope helps more than 1,000 people with disabilities and their families through our three core programs that support individuals with disabilities and their family members: Respite, Employment Services, and Independent Living. Collaboration has always been an important part of the work done at Broadscope. Through our referral sources and community partners, Broadscope has been able to identify niche service areas and, therefore, tailor opportunities and support to meet the individual needs of our clients.

Respite Care provides funding and care coordination for parents and other caregivers of individuals with disabilities who need an opportunity to recharge. These caregivers consistently provide care for their loved one and respite care gives them the time for errands, appointments, and create a higher quality of life for all members of the family.

Employment Services assists adults with diverse abilities to secure and retain competitive employment. Broadscope partners with businesses in the community to expand job opportunities, empower productivity, and advance independence.

The Independent Living Program assists adults with disabilities to live as independently as possible in the community. Services are provided to help the individual locate and utilize community resources and maintain and improve their health and living skills in order to achieve this goal.

Broadscope helps make it possible for people to live safe, independent lives as part of the communities they call home.
