Brockett Elementary School has been a part of the Aubrey community for more than 35 years. As a public school in the Aubrey School District located in Texas, Brockett has a reputation for providing a hands-on education for Pre-K – 5th grades. Our school is well known for being a character school of promising practice, engaging learning in outdoor spaces and for our morning assemblies where we come together as a close-knit community in order to help create a feeling of unity and positive school culture in students, our families and staff alike. Ultimately, we strive to create a well-rounded elementary experience that instills not only the academic foundation for success, but also the knowledge, character and community required to make success a reality.

We are a fast growing community and Brockett PTO currently has a board of 10 volunteers who serve 675 students and 70 staff members at Brockett Elementary, which is a Title 1, low income school. Our goal as a PTO is to provide support to the teachers and students alike through completely free community events, fun surprises throughout the year to help further the love of learning and community (we just purchased enough toy frogs to hand out to the entire school to celebrate leap day and purchased solar eclipse glasses for the entire school for the solar eclipse on April 8), luncheons, fundraisers and so much more. We regularly offer teacher and classroom support by purchasing classroom materials, providing care bags and stocking care closets for our students, host student/family events and we are involved with volunteering throughout the community of Aubrey.

We are currently fundraising this year with the ultimate goal of creating an outdoor classroom for everyone to enjoy for years to come.
