At Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue (BLRR), it is our mission to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome Labrador Retrievers in need and educate the public regarding the breed and responsible dog ownership. BLRR is currently serving select counties in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. This is our 24th year rescuing, caring for, and finding quality homes for these deserving dogs. BLLR pulls animals from shelters to prevent unnecessary euthanasia and helps to keep dogs out of shelters by working directly with owners to rehome their pets. We also willingly take in labs with medical conditions that cannot get the care they need in most shelters (vet medical bills make of the majority of our fundraising needs).
This is a 100% volunteer based organization. In order to continue our important work and serve our community, fundraising is a large intitiative within our organzation. We often either host or participate in over a dozen fundraising events each year.
