BNG, Brooklyn Nihongo Gakuen, is a community school operated by BJAFA (Brooklyn Japanese American Family Association), NY state not-for-profit organization with 501(c)3 status. We have been serving Japanese American families and their children from Pre-K through 12th grade at P.S. 261 building in the Cobble Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn. We provide Japanese language and cultural instructions and community-based activities that are essential for the next generations of global citizens. We currently have about 200 students.
