Buckner Fanning School at Mission Springs (BFSMS) is an accredited Pre-K through 5th grade school, and exists to foster student success and the love of God and others through heart, soul, mind and strength.
We recognize that positive self-esteem rises through self-respect as a result of hard work, accomplishments, respect for others, and sincere encouragement from our faculty and staff. We consider this piece to be an integral part of our education program. We are dedicated to our students and their families to ensure we are delivering the best education and most positive experience possible.
Our daily mission is to promote a lifetime desire for learning while equipping our students with the tools necessary to help them shape and better the world in which they live.
BFSMS is committed to providing educational excellence and Christian principles serving the mind, body and soul. We are a strength-based school, harnessing the potential of educators to then empower students to do what they do well. We partner with parents to discover student's talents followed by developing them into strengths which will have a life-long impact.
We are incredibly proud of our students and staff who make BFSMS an outstanding school. Evidence of this is in our Stanford test scores, which consistently show student performance at an average of three grade levels ahead in math and reading. Contributions to this include:
- Small class sizes with individualized instruction ensuring each student learns in their own optimal way.
- Exceptional curriculum, paired with experienced educators, results in students performing at grade levels above their current level.
- A combination of Core Knowledge, Singapore Math, STEAM, Christian education, an array of enrichment classes as well as a fine arts program educates the whole child and helps unlock their talents to become well-rounded individuals.
