Building Communities is nonprofit real estate company that works to improve and revitalize communities by restoring community assets through the redevelopment of vacant and underutilized building for social purposes. Building Communities' first project -The Senior Residence at St. Peters - opened in September 2013. Located in the former convent of St. Peter the Apostle church in RIver Edge, NJ, the Residence is home to 24 low-income seniors and developmentally disabled adults and is dedicated to providing compassionate care, a safe environment, quality services and enriching programs to enhance the lives of seniors.
