BOSS helps families and individuals achieve affordable housing, living wage jobs/income, and healthy, self-sufficient lives that are free from violence and hardship. BOSS connects people to needed resources, helps them build new skills, and fights for needed policy and systemic changes.
BOSS serves very low-income individuals and famailies facing multiple barriers to self-sufficienty: homelessness, deep poverty, criminal justice involvement, lack of education, mental illness, substance abuse, community violence, and other challenges stemming from decades of policy-induced inequity and injustice.
