The Byron Delta Lions is a group of more than 80 lady volunteers who work tirelessly to help people in need. We have a vision screening prigram for children, seniors & Veterians and do up to7,000 tests a year. We work with students on speech and peace poster contests and Read Accross America and are also a major contributor of our community pantry serving 200 families weekly. We hold Special Kids Day once a year which is a free fun day for all ages with disabilities. We support Guide Dogs for the Blind and Summer camp for children with hearing disabilities. Once a year we collect over 400 layette items for new Mothers in Need and well as support two animal rescue groups. Make Valentines for our local senior home and work on a "free day" for a neighboring town to help their low income families. Our club works jointly with the International Lions Club to help where needed through the world.
