We are a recognized 501(c)3 non-profit organization raising funds for students at CA Frost ESA Elementary, part of the Title I Grand Rapids Public School System. CA Frost hosts a Great Start Readiness preschool program in addition to Kindergarten through 5th grade and has over 500 enrolled students. We are a proud Science Academy theme school focusing on environmental studies. Students come from every geographical region of our district. We are a public school that reflects the vast diversity of our city and community.
As an environmental school, all of our students participate in hikes at least weekly, regardless of weather. We provide enriching nature experiences like tending to our community vegetable garden, maple tree tapping, fishing trips, and off-campus overnight camping. We are a longstanding Evergreen-designated Green School, certified by the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy.
