The Young Hollywood Party is a 18-Year CAA tradition where the assistant community puts on a huge fundraiser on a shoestring budget. 100% of net proceeds from the event benefit our closest charity partner, Communities In Schools of Los Angeles, who we incubated at CAA over a decade ago and continue to house at our offices. We do an ongoing reading program with CISLA students; we put on a 3-day sleepaway camp called CAMP CAA for 100+ of their middle schoolers; and we generally find any and every opportunity to support the work they do. The Young Hollywood Party is the single most significant funding source CISLA has in a given year, and as we regularly get face time with the middle and high school kids who benefit. It is up to our team to reach out to as many of our community partners and find ways they can support our goal of raising over $300,000 for the CISLA and the Young Hollywood Party event ties that all together to propel our goal.
