The Cairo Brown Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) located in Killeen, TX. It was founded in 2018 by myself and my husband Cleo Brown after the loss of our son Cairo Desmond Brown on 07/27/2018 to Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC).
The Cairo Brown Foundation since being established has raised money and donated toys through Toys for Tots in 2018, 2019, and 2022, sponsored a family in 2020 and raised and donated toys to the Let's Move Killeen Community Organization's 1st Annual Christmas Party in December 2021. We had our 1st Annual Charity Dinner at Ava's Caribbean Restaurant on November 5th, 2022. The goal is to continue to provide to the community by expanding to grief and doula services.
