Caleb Greenwood Elementary School (5457 Carlson Dr. Sacramento, CA 95819) is a K through 6 elementary school located in the heart of Sacramento. Part of the Sacramento Unified School District, Caleb Greenwood is an International Baccalaureate school that promotes diversity, higher learning, and academic performance. However, just like many other public schools in California, our school suffers from lack of funding, limiting the students from participating in a lot of extracurricular activities that can benefit their growth and development. In turn, the school is having to rely on parents to help chip in for the costs of supplies for the classrooms, to pay for field trips, or even to provide the transportation themselves for field trips – simply because the school cannot afford the bus to transport the children.
