As the advocate for nurse practitioners in California, CANP works for the advancement and recognition of its constituents. As a conduit of information, CANP fosters the dissemination of evidence-based practice, knowledge, and clinical guidelines. As a network of professionals, it brings nurse practitioners together to enhance their practice and promote safe and effective care for California residents. In California’s dynamic healthcare environment, CANP is a powerful agent of positive changes and is the upholder of professional standards in hopes to end the healthcare disparities that exist today.
