California Community Opportunities (CCO) is on a mission to renew lives and strengthen abilities of adults with disabilities. Unique across California and beyond, CCO is committed to authentic teaching in all facets of individuals’ lives. By embracing learning and skill-building opportunities in naturally occurring settings at home and throughout their own communities, individuals are always challenged and supported to reach for more. Far more than a “care” program, CCO delivers state-of-the-art residential and day services programs founded upon a highly successful Teaching Model. CCO’s Teaching Model ensures that adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) have ongoing opportunities to learn; to grow; to maintain individual rights, choice, and control; to interact with friends, family, and the wider community; and to build a life that reaches their fullest potential.
