California Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom (CFAITC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing California students with life-long lessons in nutrition, introducing them to new foods and educating them about where their food comes from. Our mission is to increase awareness and understanding of agriculture among California's educators and students. Through various programs and resources, educators are able to incorporate fun, agriculture-based curriculum into lessons in all subject areas. We provide educators with free, quality resources, trainings and information (aligned with California Education Standards) to enhance students' understanding of the important role agriculture plays in our economy, society and daily lives. Last year we reached more than 900,000 California students.
