Since 2014 we have been hosting a free lending library for children every summer for 6 weeks. The youth read biographies of men and women who have been world-changers. We have about 75 children who participate each summer and some years they have read 400 books! They earn tickets for the books they complete. At the end of the summer we host a MISSION POSSIBLE evening with a complimentary meal for the families. We watch an outdoor movie in the parking lot and conclude with a raffle for grand prizes. We ask that you consider a donation of tickets to fun activities for children and youth.
We want to encourage children to get off of their devices and learn about positive things happening in the world. It's important too, that they get the lessons from history of how others have overcome great obstacles and challenges and used those experiences to bring positive change for others.
