Camp Alkulana is a traditional overnight summer camp with a focus on making summer camp affordable for all children At Camp Alkulana, children and youth have the opportunity to get out of the city and explore the natural world. We know that when they feel safe, they are able to learn the life-changing skills that create growth, like independence, friendship skills, problem solving, and responsibility.
Our campers, ages 9-14, are from the greater Richmond, Virginia area. The majority of our spots go to children and youth who are eligible for the USDA free or reduced lunch programs in their schools.
