Camp Arrah Wanna was founded in 1941 and for over eight decades the camp has served many schools, non-profits, and other community groups. Camp Arrah Wanna's mission is "to provide a beautiful, peaceful, and safe environment where people can experience the transforming power of love and find support through healthy relationships and activities." Every year Camp Arrah Wanna continues to provide thousands of people and dozens of organizations with enriching outdoor recreation and programming experiences.

Camp Arrah Wanna is also an important part of the Welches and Mt. Hood community. Our camp hosts an Outdoor School Program year-round, offers an After School Program for elementary students, serves as a Red Cross Emergency Shelter, hosts local events like a Free Thanksgiving Meal, and invites local at-risk youth to engage in the camp's healthy recreation options, just to name a few.

Today, Camp Arrah Wanna hosts over 3,300 campers, provides over 9,500 camper nights, and serves over 50 guests groups per year. Camp Arrah Wanna is an important recreation and environmental education resource for not only Oregon, but the surronding states of Washington, Idaho, and California.
