Mission: With nature as our catalyst, we energize youth to discover their spark so their futures glow brighter.
Camp Fire Minnesota is an inclusive nature-based youth development organization, serving a highly diverse population of youth in the Twin Cities metro through our K-12 Environmental Education program, afterschool programs, and summer and school-break camps.
Our Environmental Education program provides students with hands-on nature-based learning at our Excelsior property, in their classrooms and virtually. Our curriculum is delivered by a cohort of Naturalists and aligns with Minnesota science state education standards.
Our nature-based afterschool program takes place in schools and sites in the community, providing low income youth with access to ongoing, free nature programs. Youth develop healthy habits, academic success, community leadership, and a connection to nature.
Our nature-based summer camp is based out of our Excelsior property and includes day and overnight camp, a leadership development track, and adventure canoe trips in northern Minnesota. We also offer school-break and family camps throughout the year.
