Camp Kesem is a completely free, week-long summer camp for children affected by a parent’s cancer. The entire week is organized and fundraised by college students across the country.

Cancer affects an entire family, burdening children with new responsibilities and fear. We try to provide these kids with a safe space to escape the angst of home and meet others that can empathize. This is our 15th year of Camp Kesem at UVA and we are hoping to open our arms to 160 campers aged 6-18 regardless of race, religion, economic standing, or background.

Since our camp is free for participating families, we rely on your support in order to make camp possible. We currently need to raise $50,000 by August.
