Camp Rising Sun exists to provide a safe, nurturing environment for kids that have faced a diagnosis of cancer so that they may grown and learn from their experiences to become the best they can be.

Childen aged 5 - 17 who have faced a diagnosis of cancer may attend Camp Rising Sun, at no charge, for a week of fun and friendship.  At camp they are treated as any other kid - not the kid with cancer.  They meet other children who understand what they are going through and build life long friendships.

Additionally, we offer the Sib Side at Camp Rising Sun for siblings of our campers.  It is held the same week and on the same grounds but a short walk away from CRS.  It is open to siblings aged 8 - 14 and is also free of charge. The siblings have a chance to be the center of attention as opposed to their ill brother or sister and have their own magical moments at camp.
