Cancer Hope Network is a not-for-profit organization that provides free and confidential one-on-one support to cancer patients and their loved ones. Each of CHN's 450+ Support Volunteers is at least one-year post-treatment, successfully undergoing maintenance therapies, or a caregiver to a loved one who has experienced cancer. They are trained to offer support from diagnosis, through treatment and into survivorship.
Our focus is singular: to connect our clients with someone who can relate to their unique experience and provide hope that makes a positive impact on their well-being. While most connections begin with a similar diagnosis or treatment, they also include other lifestyle circumstances and considerations that are meaningful to the client. Our volunteers' experiences include single parenthood, LGBTQ identity, English as a second language, diagnosis with multiple primary cancers, participation in a clinical trial, genetic testing, and other survivorship issues.
Cancer Hope Network is based in Chester, NJ and serves people in the US, Canada, and beyond.
